Network defense, closer to home

Your network.
In clearer view.

An OpenWrt-based router built around local threat analysis. RouterGuardAI watches network activity, highlights unusual behavior, and connects those signals to practical responses.

A clearer view of network activity

Signals you can see.
Actions you can understand.

Connected devices do not all behave the same way. RouterGuardAI combines traffic inspection with patterns learned from your network to bring unusual activity into focus.

01

Watch activity at the edge

Inspect wired and wireless traffic where it passes through your router. Keep the analysis close to the devices it protects.

02

Notice unusual patterns

Learn the network's usual behavior and flag changes. An anomaly is a reason to investigate; it does not automatically mean an attack.

03

Limit the spread

Use firewall rules, rate limits, or separate network segments to contain suspicious activity, according to the configured policy.

04

Keep analysis local

The design runs analysis on the router without requiring traffic export to a cloud service.

05

Change rules with a way back

Adaptive firewall rules include rollback behavior so a response can be reversed when needed.

06

Choose your level of control

Use simpler defaults at home or deeper controls in a lab or small-business environment.

The roadmap

Built in steps.
Shaped by real use.

These milestones describe the product direction. Early access is the place to discuss pilot scope and availability.

v0.9 · Core direction

Edge Sentinel

Threat scoring, automated containment, an early interface, and safe update paths.

v1.0 · Planned

A readable timeline

Natural-language questions about network events, with retention controls and export.

v1.1 · Planned

Multi-site management

An optional private controller for small businesses and managed-service deployments.

How it works

From network traffic to a readable response

01

Observe

Zeek and Suricata inspect traffic and describe network events.

02

Compare

An on-device scoring engine compares signals with the network's baseline.

03

Respond

OpenWrt firewall and network-segment controls apply configured countermeasures.

04

Explain

Readable alerts describe what happened, why it matters, and the next step.

A little more clarity

Good questions.
Clear answers.

What is OpenWrt?

OpenWrt is the router operating system underlying RouterGuardAI. It provides the network and firewall controls used by the defense pipeline.

Does unusual activity always mean a threat?

No. New devices, software updates, and legitimate changes can look unusual. Alerts should provide context, and response policies need to fit your environment.

Can I join a pilot?

Early access is aimed at homes, labs, and small businesses. Describe your connection, devices, and goals so we can discuss whether a pilot is a good fit.
